Creating stories together, through sound.
I’m Mischa Stanton [xe/they]. I’m a storyteller, collaborator, and a scholar of the intersection of art & the human mind.
I want to make your next project sound amazing.
We have an intrinsic need to tell stories to & with each other, baked right into our DNA. I have dedicated my life to honing the ability to support new stories with immersive, intimate, and impactful sound design & voiceover direction.
I started working as an audio engineer at 13, and studied Sound Design at Emerson College and Psychoacoustics at Berklee School of Music under Dr. Susan Rogers (Purple Rain). I’ve worked in theatre, live music, museum installations, short films, animation, commercial events, award shows, and even a Renaissance Faire or two!
The work I’m most known for is in podcasting. I co-created the time-travel spy thriller ars PARADOXICA in 2015, and served as Story Editor, Director, & Showrunner. Since then I’ve had a hand in over 60 podcasts! I’ve created intricate worlds for shows like MARVELS, LeVar Burton Reads, and The Bright Sessions, and engineered projects for Netflix, Audible, CNN and The LA Times. I’m currently a producer & editor at Multitude, and host The Wandering Path and Simple and Clean: A Kingdom Hearts Podcast.
Let’s work together to bring your next story to life!
